Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to deliver projects that meet client expectations.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost management.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and company performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 8-15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in project management.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
