We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team at New Dawn Medical Walk-In & Family Practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our healthcare facilities. Key responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
In addition, the Facilities Maintenance Professional will be responsible for making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. This may involve contacting tradespersons for major repairs.
Other tasks will include performing safety and security checks, as well as performing routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
The ideal candidate will possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and have 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance. Physical stamina is required, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
A valid criminal record check is required for this position, and the successful candidate will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots.
This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 30-40 hours of work per week. The salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
