At Quesada Burritos & Tacos, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our culinary department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing efficient work schedules, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and supervising staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement effective scheduling systems to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain our culinary standards.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff Activities: Lead and motivate our food service team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide comprehensive training to ensure staff are equipped to handle various tasks and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Accurately forecast ingredient and supply needs to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and onboard talented individuals to join our team.
  • Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer feedback and concerns.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately track and record inventory, sales, and waste to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators and operational metrics.
  • Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef: Compile and present detailed summaries of food orders to inform menu planning and inventory management.
  • Supervise and Check Assembly of Trays: Ensure accurate and efficient tray assembly to meet customer demands.
  • Supervise and Check Delivery of Food Trolleys: Monitor and maintain the timely delivery of food trolleys to ensure seamless service.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement effective scheduling systems to ensure seamless service delivery.
