We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority as a Mental Health and Addictions Specialist. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical assessment and interventions to clients experiencing problems related to mental health and addictions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide education and support to clients, families, and communities
- Participate in program development, planning, and evaluation
- Collaborate with community partners to provide comprehensive care
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant
- Additional training in adult education preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and mental health and addictions co-morbidity
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong clinical assessment and formulation skills
