Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Taste To Savour Catering Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, as well as managing the inventory and supplies of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal kitchen operations.
- Team Support: Provide guidance and support to kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
We are committed to supporting the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees. As a Culinary Operations Manager, you will play a key role in this effort by:
- Facilitating Access to Resources: Help newcomers and refugees access community resources, language training, and skills training to support their integration into Canadian society.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship and coaching to newcomers and refugees to help them develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the culinary industry.
We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment for Indigenous people. As a Culinary Operations Manager, you will play a key role in this effort by:
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training to all kitchen staff to ensure they have the knowledge and understanding needed to work effectively with Indigenous colleagues and customers.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship and coaching to Indigenous kitchen staff to help them develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the culinary industry.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
