About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled People and Culture / HR practitioner to fill the role of Strategic Project Officer - People and Culture. This is an excellent opportunity for a fixed-term appointment until 30/06/2025, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the Learning and Development program for 2025, developing an annual L&D program, collating and updating internal procedures, and assisting with other projects where required. This role may be performed flexibly and/or remotely for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Proven track record in fast-paced environments, including delivering learning and development programs
  • Skilled in planning, organizing, and delivering HR initiatives within tight deadlines
  • High competency in creating written policies and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of people
  • Ability to understand and interpret legislation, enterprise agreements, awards, and payroll information
  • Capable of managing competing priorities and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • High degree of problem-solving skills

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including:
  • An attractive base salary of approx. $91,000 - $98,000 per annum pro rata
  • In addition to base salary, generous allowances (Location and Housing Assistance of up to $18,000 pa pro rata) and employer matched superannuation with a total max contribution of 15.5%
