Job Summary

This role is responsible for fostering strong relationships with Commercial Accounts customers, collaborating closely with accounts to coordinate vehicle sales, and ensuring seamless operational flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate account records and cultivate a positive customer relationship by efficiently handling and resolving account issues.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with major commercial accounts, promoting a culture of excellent customer service.
  • Develop new commercial accounts through personal and phone contact with potential customers, increasing the level of consignment with existing customers.
  • Effectively resolve customer problems and inquiries, consistently providing high-quality service.
  • Review customer account records for completeness and accuracy, maintaining customer account files in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Review and update condition reports, approve and audit vehicle repair reports.
  • Review condition reports and make recommendations for reconditioning to increase vehicle value.
  • Collaborate with Lot Operations and Recon departments to ensure the timely movement of vehicles to the shops and completion of reconditioning.
  • In coordination with account administrators and account-specific procedures, prepare sale vehicle run processes, including run order, scheduling, and notice to customer accounts.
  • Work with lot operations and quadrant coordinators to ensure the proper scanning and organization of account vehicles.
  • Review vehicles in the sale lineup, locate missing vehicles, and work with account representatives to ensure vehicles are ready for sale.
  • Embody a commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures and modeling safe behaviors. Participate actively in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the automobile industry or the Auction business required.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and a safe driving record required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service essential.
  • Strong organization skills required.
  • Good computer and software knowledge, as well as experience with AS400, preferred.
