As a key member of the Department of Emergency Medicine, you will have the opportunity to work to the full scope of your practice, providing comprehensive direct patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, make differential diagnoses, and plan clinical management of patients
- Perform comprehensive assessment, order appropriate testing, and plan the clinical management of patients
- Provide leadership and actively participate in program development and evaluation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Participate in inter-disciplinary collaboration in the provision of patient care
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized Physician Assistant Education Program
- Certified Physician Assistant with one of the following credentials: Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA), Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C)
- Registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
