Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, Arestin Unit, the incumbent performs filling and packaging operations at the Arestin Production Unit from precise instructions in accordance with good manufacturing practices, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Production of batches
  • Performs filling, operation, and packaging work at the Arestin Unit in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensures that production steps are followed as specified in the production sheet
  • Completes documentation diligently during production
  • Monitors quality during production and notifies the supervisor of any deviations from the process
  • Performs product inspections when necessary
  • Ensures that necessary documentation is completed in the event of deviations
  • Ensures the availability of necessary equipment for task execution
  • Ensures that the workstation and equipment are maintained according to BPF and HSE quality standards
  • Participates in team work and contributes to the development of new work methods
  • Ensures the maintenance of technical qualifications and knowledge of current methods and procedures.
  • Performs any other related tasks as requested by their supervisor

Equipment and Materials

  • Ensures the verification of the proper functioning and conformity of equipment, materials, and facilities
  • Ensures the proper use of equipment
  • Notifies the team leader and/or supervisor of any problems encountered
  • Respects production standards (TRS, Productivity, Yield)
  • Ensures compliance with instructions
  • May assemble certain equipment
  • Performs equipment and facility cleaning
  • May verify, complete, and transmit batch records and packaging documents
  • Takes necessary measures to preserve the integrity of people, goods, and products in the event of anomalies.
  • Makes entries in production management systems

BPF and HSE

  • Performs work in accordance with current BPF and HSE standards, policies, and procedures
  • Applies HSE directives, procedures, and instructions on a daily basis
  • Ensures that any quality/HSE events are reported to their supervisor
  • Communicates problems and proposes improvements

Qualifications:

  • Secondary V or equivalent, DEP or DEC
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related field as a production associate or operator
  • Technical knowledge of processes/products
  • Knowledge of production tools
