Housekeeping Attendant

The Housekeeping Attendant is a vital role at Fantasyland Hotel, where your primary responsibility will be to ensure the overall cleanliness and comfort of our guests. This includes guest rooms, lobby, and public areas, adhering to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean, dust, and vacuum all areas to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Prepare guest rooms to our standards, stripping and making beds.
  • Replace soiled bed and bath linens with fresh ones.
  • Clean and mop bathrooms, fixtures, and floors, including Jacuzzis.
  • Ensure essential amenities are available in each room.
  • Collaborate with the team to handle reasonable requests from management.
  • Inspect rooms for deficiencies and damages, reporting them to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and security controls.
  • Keep housekeeping carts clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Stock, clean, and secure storage areas.
  • Perform any reasonable duties to support hotel operations.
  • Collect and turn in lost and found items.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Physical demands include lifting, bending/reaching, pulling/pushing, walking.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Performance to set cleaning standards.
  • Good working knowledge of the English language.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and practices.

Terms of Employment:

  • This is a part-time position requiring flexible availability Monday through Sunday.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
