Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist international students in finding suitable housing options near the campus.
  • Identify potential opportunities for new off-campus housing resources based on evolving student needs and Acsenda's strategic path.
  • Provide information on local rental markets, lease agreements, and housing regulations through workshops.
  • Create informational materials and resources about local neighborhoods, transportation, and essential services.
  • Organize and participate in housing orientation sessions for international students.
  • Provide guidance on tenant rights and responsibilities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of housing listings, roommate opportunities, and other relevant resources.
  • Continuously research and compile information on local housing trends and available accommodations.
  • Collaborate with the Student Services team on projects and initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate emergency support needs for students.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Housing Management, Business Admin, Student Services)
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in housing management support or a related field
  • Experience in student life programming and/or providing services in a post-secondary environment
  • Knowledge of local housing laws and regulations is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate records and produce accurate reports
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Excel
