Job Summary

Ornge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotor Wing Pilot to join our team. As a Rotor Wing Pilot, you will be responsible for operating aircraft in a variety of conditions, handling pressure, and being flexible and adaptable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate aircraft in accordance with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assist the Pilot-in-Command with flight planning and aircraft preparation
  • Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and the well-being of passengers and crew
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Must be able to relocate to a base location and reside within close proximity

Requirements:

  • Valid Air Transport Pilot's Licence (ATPL) (Helicopter) issued by Transport Canada
  • Minimum 500 hours of Rotary-wing flight experience
  • Completed Air Transport Pilot's License (ATPL) (Helicopter) Exams
  • Valid Group 4 Instrument Rating
  • Valid Class 1 Medical
  • Experience flying multi-engine helicopters is desirable
  • Experience using Night Vision Goggles (NVG) and flying for Emergency Medical Service (EMS) or equivalent is desirable
