About the Role

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Glazing Project Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional results. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage labour target rates and communicate effectively with the project team
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers
  • Identify potential conflicts and negotiate best solutions
  • Main point of contact for assigned scope of work
  • Lead project kickoffs, hand offs, and autopsy meetings with the project team
  • Work with Safety, Site Supervisor, and Foreman to ensure all Safety measures are in place
  • Pre-plan the execution of projects and develop schedules with the project team
  • Develop, track, and negotiate change orders
  • Responsible for time, cost, and overall project performance

Requirements

  • Min. 3+ years' experience as a Project Manager in a commercial construction industry, particularly in curtain wall construction
  • Education in a civil engineering or building science program or a related field
  • Knowledge of the curtain wall/glazing industry is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office package, including MS Project
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
