Job Title: General Medical Practitioner

Pinnacle Medical Centres is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Medical Practitioner to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a medical professional with a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a General Medical Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical services to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing routine surgeries, and prescribing medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other medical professionals to identify diseases and injuries.
  • Examine patients' health conditions to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
  • Consult with other medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
  • Perform and assist in routine surgeries, including delivering babies and providing pre-natal and post-natal care.
  • Advise patients on health care and provide counseling and support on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
  • Report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health-related information to government authorities.
  • Be the patient advocate and coordinate or manage primary patient care.
  • Provide acute care management and counseling to patients and their families.
Requirements:
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
