Job Title: Journeyman Steel Fabricator

KAY-SON Steel Fabricators Ltd. is a Canadian-owned fabrication plant with over 50 years of experience in structural steel fabrication. We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Steel Fabricator to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced steel fabricator to work in our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, welding, and ensuring the plant is running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Responsibilities:
  • Fitting, fabricating, and welding steel components
  • Ensuring quality and accuracy in all work
  • Collaborating with the production team to meet production targets
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Performing other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of metal fabrication and 10+ years of experience
  • Experience in fabricating handrail, stairs, columns, and beams
  • Red Seal Fabricator Ticket an asset
  • All position ticketed welder an asset
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to operate cranes
