Job Summary:

KAY-SON Steel Fabricators Ltd. is a leading Canadian-owned fabrication plant seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fitting, fabricating, welding, and ensuring the plant runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
  • Reporting to the Production Manager, the Steel Fabricator will be responsible for overseeing daily operations.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of metal fabrication with 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience in fabricating handrail, stairs, columns, and beams.
  • Red Seal Fabricator Ticket and All Position Ticketed Welder an asset.
  • Ability to read blueprints and operate cranes.

Competencies:

  • Self-starter with a team-oriented approach.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
