We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technologist to join our team at Allied Forming Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

About the Role

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per year, plus benefits. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week in a dynamic environment that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Technologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing production programs to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Designing plant layouts and production facilities to optimize workflow and safety
  • Conducting safety training programs to educate staff on best practices
  • Collecting and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing computer applications to automate machine and process control
  • Assisting in preparing estimates, schedules, and reports to inform business decisions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., quality assurance, engineering)
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on production process management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
