The Role

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will receive parts and components, perform picking and kitting, manage and control inventory, and perform inventory stock counting under the strict guidelines of the Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Organize the stock room and ensure all parts are labelled, packaged correctly, and protected against damage.
  • Proactively kitting parts/components for assembly orders and other production jobs.
  • Issue parts to manufacturing and maintenance staff and track in the ERP system.
  • Handle and preserve components and parts as per the approved quality procedures.
  • Perform periodical inventory counts and report discrepancies between physical counts and ERP System records.
  • Receive and stock all tracked inventory.
  • Maintain and update records.
  • Inspect incoming goods and packages based on written procedures and measurements while adhering to engineering drawings.
  • Converse with internal supply chain and quality staff on missing requirements, documents, or non-conformances.

Requirements

  • Excellent math and analytical skills.
  • High level of computer literacy, specifically MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbally and written.
  • High degree of manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy boxes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a related position.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferably a college diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education working with inventory or MRP systems.
