As a key member of the team at Potentia Human Resources Inc., we are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Warehouse Operations Coordinator. This exciting opportunity is based in our Kelowna, BC office.

Job Description

This hybrid role combines administrative tasks with hands-on warehouse responsibilities, providing a unique chance to grow and develop your skills. As the successful candidate, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the company by demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to working with a team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support general clerical duties, including filing paperwork, answering phones, handling correspondence, checking mail, and maintaining office supplies;
  • Manage procurement by ordering from vendors, maintaining inventory levels, setting up new vendors, following up on overdue POs, finding alternatives to unavailable items, and negotiating better pricing;
  • Prepare and process orders, including picking, packing, and shipping;
  • Assist with scheduling shipments, including order processing, inventory management, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely delivery;
  • Receive incoming shipments, check contents against purchase orders and packing slips, and report any issues;
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Total ETO software;
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including organizing stock, conducting monthly cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies;
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks;
  • Perform additional duties and provide support to various departments as needed.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong administrative skills, including data entry and reporting accuracy. The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively is essential.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus;
  • Previous experience in warehouse/logistics and administration is preferred;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Proficiency in inventory management software Total ETO is an asset;
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with a collaborative work style;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and in a team-based environment;
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality and integrity;
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking abilities, and time management skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work;
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn;
  • Ability to lift heavy objects of 50lbs or less;
  • Forklift certification preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Salary: $52,000 - $62,000 per annum, depending on experience.
