About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at E.A.M Enterprise Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules

You will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our staff are well-trained and equipped to handle the demands of our fast-paced environment.

Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff

You will oversee the activities of our staff, including food service counter attendants and food preparers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.

Train Staff in Job Duties and Sanitation Procedures

You will be responsible for training our staff in their job duties, as well as sanitation and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide exceptional service and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required

You will be responsible for estimating the ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet our customers' needs.

Ensure Quality Control Standards

You will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet our high quality control standards, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Address Customer Complaints

You will be responsible for addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.

Maintain Records of Stock and Sales

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have a clear understanding of our business operations.

Establish Work Schedules

You will be responsible for establishing work schedules for our staff, ensuring that we have sufficient coverage to meet our customers' needs.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, coffee shop
  • Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and coordinate activities of staff, train staff in job duties and sanitation procedures, estimate ingredient and supplies required, ensure quality control standards, address customer complaints, maintain records of stock and sales, establish work schedules
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player
  • Government Programs: Recognized employer
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
