Holt Renfrew seeks a highly skilled Building Automation Systems Leader to join its Network Facilities and Maintenance team. As a key member of this team, this individual will be responsible for the management of environmental services, accreditations, and energy operational processes related to building systems.

This role requires a strong background in power generation and/or facilities with at least 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded knowledge of engine, generator, and compressor performance and operations, as well as experience with BAS systems.

The Building Automation Systems Leader will be responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of stationary natural gas/electrical power generating equipment, as well as monitoring and maintaining the Business Automated Systems (BAS) daily to support the company's carbon footprint reduction.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Capital Projects team to identify energy conservation opportunities and prepare business cases when needed. They will also be responsible for working with the Network and Construction teams on shutdowns, drawing review, and attending commissioning orientation for all necessary training required for maintaining a completed project.

This role requires strong communication skills, as the individual will be representing the National Facilities team in a positive manner to internal associates and external contractors. The ability to drive and manage reporting with inputs from multiple stakeholders is also essential.

The Building Automation Systems Leader will be responsible for ensuring compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures. They will also be required to maintain logbooks, maintenance forms, and complete CMMS entries when required, as well as produce reports, records of information related to operational, maintenance, and safety activities in the BAS and Power Generation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operation and basic maintenance of stationary natural gas/electrical power generating equipment.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in power generation and/or facilities.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of engine, generator, and compressor performance and operations.
  • Experience with BAS systems.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to drive and manage reporting with inputs from multiple stakeholders.
  • Regular access to a vehicle and ability to travel 10%-15% of the time.
