Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Retail Sales Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing a dedicated geographical territory, consisting of 50+ retail and carrier stores. The successful candidate will cultivate strong relationships with retail partners and field leadership to drive strategic initiatives for increased sales and market share of brand products.
The Retail Sales Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Cultivating relationships with retail partners and field leadership to collaborate on strategic initiatives
- Developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for direct and indirect customer sales, associate training, and influencing store associates at all levels
- Coordinating and leading training events, both face-to-face and virtually
- Driving increased sell-through and market share for each store within the designated territory
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5-8+ years combined sales and/or retail sales experience, preferably with strong relative experience in retail business and/or wireless
- Knowledgeable in analyzing sales and market/territory data to provide consultation and correction for under-performing stores
- Proven experience managing and tracking performance against assigned directives and KPIs
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with retail partner store and district field leadership
- Superior interpersonal skills to work closely with other team members, sales associates, retail sales management, and clients
