Key Responsibilities- Prepare meats for processing or cutting by cleaning and trimming them.
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for packaging and sale.
- Wrap and package prepared meats for distribution.
- Remove bones from meat to ensure quality and safety.
- Weigh meats for accurate sale and labeling.
- Cut poultry into parts and fish into steaks and fillets for packaging.
- Grind meats for various products.
- Train and mentor junior meat cutters to ensure high-quality work.
- Prepare special orders and displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to meet customer demands.
- Work in a fast-paced meat processing and packing environment with a focus on quality and safety.
- Be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
- Have excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure accurate cutting and packaging.
- Be a team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Work a standard 40-hour week with regular breaks and time off.
