About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill and Chill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Control

Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and ensure that we are operating within our financial targets.

Menu Planning and Pricing

Work with our culinary team to modify food preparation methods and menu prices to ensure that they align with our budget and meet customer demand.

Operations Planning and Organization

Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and develop our team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Customer Service

Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Health and Safety

Ensure that our restaurant meets all health and safety regulations and that our team members are trained to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Security and Safety

Ensure that our restaurant is secure and that our team members are aware of their responsibilities in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Personal Suitability

We are looking for a team player who is client-focused, has efficient interpersonal skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma

Experience

At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role

Language

English

Work Hours

35 hours per week
