Job Summary:

Evertz is seeking a skilled Electronics Troubleshooter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic circuits to the component level.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex electronic circuits to the component level
  • Provide failure analysis and root cause analysis of defects and field returns
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Build and test the latest film and television equipment that incorporates the most advanced components available to the industry
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks

Qualifications:

  • 2-year Electrical Technician or 3-year Electrical Technology Co-op program
  • Experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting is required
  • Problem-solving ability and ability to react to changing situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving ability, time management skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated
