Position Overview
The Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management will play a critical role in driving the company's global marketing functions and product evolution. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior executive will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, setting the direction for product development, and implementing lead generation and awareness campaigns to support revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain market visibility through competitive intelligence gathering and analysis.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand existing product offerings into new market sectors.
- Enhance the company's online presence through website evolution, social media, and e-commerce capabilities.
- Implement integrated marketing campaigns to drive e-commerce revenues and generate leads for the sales team.
- Develop sales tools to support business development and professional services.
- Evolve product portfolios to target new sectors for growth.
- Implement structured product management processes for the Technical Intelligence, Business Intelligence, and Workflow Tools business units.
- Lead program management to guide new product and capability investment decisions.
- Implement metrics-based marketing strategies supported by marketing automation systems.
Requirements
- University/college degree in Business (e.g., MBA) complemented by engineering or technical education/experience.
- 15+ years of successful B2B global marketing and product management experience, ideally with experience in subscription-based or syndicated services and e-commerce.
- Demonstrated track record of leading marketing and product management organizations through successful marketing campaigns, product launches, and market development.
- Superior team skills and experience building, managing, and mentoring teams with diverse technical and marketing skills.
- Entrepreneurial attitude, passion, sense of urgency, and a willingness to perform multiple roles as required to achieve desired results.
- Experience with intellectual property is a strong asset.
Travel and Remuneration
Global travel will be necessary. Salary, incentives, and benefit package are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
