Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and patrol premises regularly to identify potential security risks and take proactive measures to prevent incidents.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including shoplifting and other forms of internal and external loss.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to alarms as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve security processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in security or customer service is an asset.
- Good understanding of legal guidelines for security and public safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
