Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructor to join our team at Discover Learning Inc. as a Private Training Institute Instructor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in work sessions and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials and outlines for courses, ensuring they meet the needs of our students.
  • Design and administer tests and papers to evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting student progress and areas for improvement.
  • Operate audio-visual equipment to enhance the learning experience and facilitate presentations.
  • Conduct course and program evaluations to ensure our offerings meet the needs of our students and the industry.
  • Deliver engaging lectures and presentations, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  • Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and laboratory, shop, and field studies, ensuring they gain practical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Area of specialization: Mathematics, Second language education.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
