Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Continental Motel & Dining Lounge. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Marketing and Customer Service: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
