Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations to identify diseases, injuries, and other health issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to promote healthy habits, break unhealthy patterns, and improve overall well-being.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to inform treatment decisions.
- Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Perform routine surgeries and assist in emergency care situations.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Report births, deaths, and other health-related events to government authorities as required.
