We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at the General Medical Nursing Unit in Regina. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care as a member of our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and interpret medical information to make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and open communication.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in a recognized accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
  • Certified with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants.
  • Membership and licensure in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan as a Physician Assistant.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and promoting a culture of safety and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • HSAS seniority in the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
