We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Century Painting Services. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Mix paint to desired color and texture.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.
- Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in painting or a related field.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Hand-eye coordination.
- Attention to detail.
- Physical demands of the job include bending, crouching, and kneeling.
