About This Opportunity
Coca-Cola Canada is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on our company fleet vehicles, adhering to DOT and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium and heavy-duty diesel tractor and trailer vehicles.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various types of vehicles.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks within the fleet department.
- Respond to service calls and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in and adhere to required safety training and protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess a valid 310T License.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field.
- Previous experience as a mechanic with light and heavy equipment is essential.
- 3+ years of journeyman mechanic experience is preferred.
- Experience with gasoline, diesel, and propane engines, automotive electrical systems, and material handling equipment is highly desirable.
- A Class 1 Driver's license or suitability for Class 1 training is required.
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude is essential.
