About This Opportunity

Coca-Cola Canada is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on our company fleet vehicles, adhering to DOT and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium and heavy-duty diesel vehicles, including tractor and trailer maintenance and repair.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various types of vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient repairs.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance within the fleet department, ensuring vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Respond to service calls and perform repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Pick up and deliver vehicles as required.
  • Participate in and adhere to required safety training.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • MUST have a 310T License.
  • Minimum of 2 years' work experience.
  • Previous experience as a mechanic with light and heavy equipment required.
  • 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience preferred.
  • Experience repairing and diagnosing gasoline, diesel, and propane engines, automotive electrical systems, and material handling equipment preferred.
  • Successful applicant will be required to have a Class 1 Driver's license or be suitable for Class 1 training.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • May be required to supply automotive hand tools (not including heavy-duty or diagnostic tools).
  • Knowledge of airbrake and electrical systems and components preferred.
  • Experience operating Forklifts preferred.
