Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of electrical distribution utilities projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, including updates to dashboards and presentation decks for gap analysis, program delivery reports, and planned capital project completions KPI monitoring.
  • Responsible for gathering large data from various sources within the client organization, analyzing, and identifying gaps, trends, and variances.
  • Support the development of plan lines by creating forecast assumptions and spend plan lines.
  • Support the forecasting of the design and construction execution work program through the development of spend and attainment plan lines for capital and maintenance projects/programs for assigned client groups.
  • Participate in identifying risks that impact the successful delivery of programs for assigned client groups and report to the program manager.
  • Aggregate project-level information into portfolio-level delivery reporting.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with various stakeholders and act as the liaison for all projects under assigned areas of jurisdiction.
  • Coordinate with the planning group to reflect new and revised priorities, including scopes and portfolios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. PMP or other project management designation is considered an asset.
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, particularly in power distribution. Electrical distribution utilities experience is considered an asset.
  • Project management experience is required.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills. Understand business process redesign, analysis for business projects, identification of areas for improvement, and development of new initiatives.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Project, SAP, and other PM tools. Knowledge of Tableau is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
