Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

At Sewak's Independent, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure effective task management
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business objectives
  • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Establish and manage work schedules to meet business needs
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 employees, including cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
Work Environment:

Our retail store is located in an urban area, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work a 32-hour workweek.
