Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Charge Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in the Special Coagulation Laboratory. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, where you will be responsible for supervising, organizing, and assigning workload among technical staff to ensure the efficient operation of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage laboratory personnel to achieve optimal performance and productivity.
  • Ensure quality control and equipment maintenance within assigned areas of the laboratory.
  • Maintain inventory management systems for efficient utilization and distribution of laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Detect, document, and report discrepancies or errors, taking appropriate action as required.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technologist program.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (CMLTO) required.
  • Five (5) years of recent laboratory experience in the Special Coagulation Laboratory is required.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of Coagulation.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop skills and knowledge in all areas of the laboratory.
Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including a comprehensive pension plan, extended health and dental coverage, and generous vacation time.
