About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tools Programmer to join our team at Borderless Capital. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tools to improve the usability and efficiency of our game engine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze workflow issues, usability problems, and tooling gaps in our game engine
  • Collaborate with UX designers and artists to develop solutions to usability problems
  • Implement new workflows and tools to accelerate content creation and improve user experience
  • Optimize existing tools and work with cross-functional teams to ensure they are state-of-the-art
  • Analyze and resolve common problems in our game engine, such as performance issues and memory usage
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and projects to drive innovation and improvement
  • Engage with our licensees to provide support and enable them to overcome challenges
Requirements
  • Excellent C++ skills and experience developing in a large codebase
  • Proven experience in writing tools that improve the customer experience, iteration, and development time in game development or other fields
  • Passion for improving the customer experience in software products, with a focus on holistic and user-centric design
  • Strong understanding of software programming and design principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal)
