Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to protect our casino assets and provide exceptional customer service. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.

About the Role

  • Protect company assets and prevent theft, fraud, and vandalism.
  • Monitor and record daily activities in a secure logbook.
  • Assist with first aid and medical attention as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and document internal and external violations, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
  2. Enforce restricted access policies and conduct identification checks as required.
  3. Observe transactions and transfers, and report any discrepancies.
  4. Conduct regular patrols of the property and escort guests and team members as needed.
  5. Attend to first aid incidents and assist with crowd control during peak periods.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Two years of experience working with the public in a service role or in the service industry.
  • Previous experience or training in security is an asset.
  • First Aid/CPR certification and Gaming Registration required.

Working Conditions

This role requires a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with exposure to some conflict and noise. You must be able to work independently and apply good judgment and discretion under pressure.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $18 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional development and advancement.
