About the Role:
GardaWorld is seeking a skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, fostering employee engagement, and participating in departmental projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining employee files, generating employment letters, and handling day-to-day HR functions.
- Foster employee engagement through HR activities and assist with social events.
- Participate in departmental projects and process improvement plans.
- Handle employee inquiries and labour relations matters, including harassment investigations and performance management.
- Prepare and document grievance and arbitration records.
- Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive employee matters and company information.
- Assist with interpretation, application, and implementation of our Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Support the Ontario and Western Canada Region.
Requirements:
- Education in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Human Resources experience and/or schooling.
- Labour relations experience.
- Ability to work in an armed environment.
- Ability to work a varied work schedule, Monday – Friday, across four time zones.
- Ability to work a hybrid position with a possibility of in-office work in the future.
- Access to a vehicle and valid license for commuting to different branches across Ontario.
- Interpersonal, problem-solving, organization skills, and a team player.
- Detail-oriented and dedicated to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress, and high-volume environment.
