Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, including managing staff, maintaining quality control, and ensuring that our products are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Production: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Baking and Quality Control: Bake mixed dough and batters, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Staff Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, and schedule staff as needed.
- Customer Service: Prepare special orders and ensure that customer needs are met.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to handle heavy loads.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced bakery environment with tight deadlines.
