Job Title: Refrigeration Operator

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Operator to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and promote a culture of health and safety within the department.
  • Conduct daily checks on refrigeration equipment and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Tour the warehouse regularly to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment to optimize utility costs.
  • Respond to alarm calls outside of business hours to maintain proper temperatures.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries and contamination.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role.
  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is essential.
  • Hold a valid B class or higher Refrigeration Operator Certificate (MMF Class B).
  • Commitment to health and safety and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
