Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate special events and ensure seamless execution
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demands
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer expectations
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances to ensure safety and satisfaction
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficiency
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation and high productivity
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Recruit and hire staff to maintain a skilled and dedicated team
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and high quality
