Job Overview

Compensation and Benefits

Our offer includes:

  • A competitive salary range of $83,200 - $93,600 per year
  • A flexible Monday to Friday schedule
  • A location in Owensboro, Kentucky
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing patient data, identifying nutritional problems, and assessing satisfaction with nutrition services
  • Developing and updating care plans, involving patients and families, and communicating changes to team members
  • Ensuring meals meet standards, educating stakeholders, working with physicians, documenting interventions, and supervising meal service
  • Monitoring nutritional intake and weight changes, and reviewing diet orders
  • Participating in Quality Improvement processes and reporting food service issues
  • Actively engaging in team meetings and care planning
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Dietitian, preferably with a geriatric population
  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) status preferred, or must be eligible within 24 months
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and minimum state-required auto insurance
  • Medically cleared for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations
  • A comprehensive criminal background check

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • The ability to teach and provide nutritional guidance to participants and families
  • Meet competency standards for the position
  • Medically cleared and immunized before direct participant contact
  • A background check verifying eligibility for Medicare and Medicaid participation
