As an IT Field Support Engineer at AVASO, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and develop your skills in troubleshooting complex technical issues. You will be responsible for providing first/second-level support to customers, working with third-party vendors, and maintaining ticket updates for all reported incidents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and Cisco Jabber. They will also have basic knowledge of Mac operating systems and experience with printer installation and maintenance.

This role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

In this position, you will work in a project-based environment, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality results. We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, ranging from $60,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first/second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues
  • Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed
  • Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office 2010
  • Support Apple PC users with basic knowledge of Mac operating system
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers
  • Remedial repairs on Desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or better
  • Minimum of 18 months years of IT experience
  • Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, Helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Mobile device management including IOS and Android devices, Enterprise encryption solutions, Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory
  • Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task, effectively determine priorities and meet SLA's
  • Excellent communication relationship-building and internal customer service skills
