IT Operations Team Lead Position for Azure Expert

We are seeking a skilled IT Operations Team Lead to oversee our team of technical engineers and Azure infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will be responsible for running and maintaining a team of tech op engineers with a focus on IT ticket resolution, environmental stability, and application deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee IT ticket queue and serve as an escalation path for IT tickets
- Monitor and respond to email flow/alerts, endpoint protection alerts, and Azure/Vendor alerts
- Assist with data security issues/breaches and implement security requirements required by CSI/Vela
- Calculate and provide monthly/annual billing information for services including Azure Subscriptions, Hosting services, Operational Expenses, Endpoint protection/security software, and other centrally procured IT solutions
- Serve as mentor for others on the IT team and monitor IT team composition to ensure adequacy for workload, skillset, and user load
- Have a deep understanding of Emphasys infrastructure and work with our MSP Coretek to build, maintain, and upgrade current environments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or industry experience equivalent
- 4+ years of experience with Azure App Services and Azure SQL for hosted products
- 4+ years of experience leading tech ops engineers
- Understanding of Azure billing and cost models
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures and design patterns, including REST API's, and continuous integration/deployment and zero downtime deployment
