Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Rubicon Path. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for cloud-native applications in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain automated deployment processes for cloud-native applications in AKS.
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code: Automate infrastructure management using Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Implement Container Orchestration: Ensure efficient deployment, scaling, and management of applications within AKS using Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices and tools throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Monitor Application Performance: Troubleshoot deployment issues, ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud services in Azure.
  • Manage Helm Charts and Pipeline Scripts: Package Kubernetes applications and automate deployments in AKS.
  • Set up and Maintain Azure DevOps Pipelines: Create customized pipeline scripts, build, release, and deployment processes.
  • Implement Best Practices for Container Security: Continuously monitor and improve cloud environments.
  • Use Monitoring Tools: Track the health of applications and cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and other tools.
  • Automate Testing and Security Scanning: Ensure high-quality and secure code deployment within the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Optimize Cloud Resource Usage: Balance performance and cost efficiency in cloud environments.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure and AKS.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate is a plus.
  • Strong Knowledge: Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Azure Storage, and Azure Load Balancers.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
