Key Responsibilities:
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: You will have experience driving in mountainous terrain and be able to navigate challenging roads.
  • Customer Service: You will provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Load and Unload Goods: You will be responsible for loading and unloading goods at various locations, ensuring they are handled with care and transported safely.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: You will perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: You will communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Record Keeping: You will maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: You will ensure the safety and security of cargo at all times.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: You will hold a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and a Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Experience: You will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience as a Truck Driver.
  • Education: You will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: You will be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
