We are seeking a skilled Heavy Industry Tire Technician to join our team at Summit Truck and Equipment Repair in Salmo, British Columbia. About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tire removal, installation, and repairs for all OTR vehicles. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating and installing repaired or replacement tires and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures.

As a key member of our team, you will follow work order procedures and communicate effectively with Lead Hands regarding the work required.

You will maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism throughout your workday.

Requirements
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for this role.
  • You must be a team player who is willing to pitch in and help out wherever needed.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract is required.
  • You must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Committed to safe work practices is crucial for this position.
  • Exemplary customer service skills are necessary to ensure excellent results.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time opportunity comes with a starting wage of $18-20 per hour, paid twice monthly through direct deposit.

In addition to your salary, you will receive consistent, steady work in a professional and respectful environment.
