Bison Concrete & Construction Limited is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and improve its quality.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Instruct apprentices and share your expertise to help them develop their skills.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, adhering to project specifications.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, protecting them from damage.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures, maintaining their integrity.
  • Estimate costs and materials, ensuring efficient project planning and execution.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, staying up-to-date with project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials.
  • Ability to work at heights and in challenging environments.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing project requirements.

Working Conditions:

  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
